Sort of seems now like Edler and Schmidt followed the rats off a sinking ship. The problems must be pretty deep. |

Think it is way beyond that .
Would not be surprised to see some core players divided also . Multiple problems .

Sure, I agree with that.
A new owner isn't likely so the problems that can be addressed start with JB. Simply put, JB is inept.
JB does not have the ability to create a sustainable contender. He needs to go. Someone needs to clean up the mess. And the cleaner shouldn't be the one who made the mess in the first place. |

My guess is the Lotto line has a divide . I see on the PP Boeser just standing there waiting , waiting , still waiting. I think him and Miller don't like each other and I wonder if that is why Green splits them up. We have all seen the gif of those two arguing. I would also guess JTM has laid into Pettersson once or twice.
Benning and Green are moot for me seeing I thought they should be gone already. I think the biggest issue is the dressing room and I am guessing it is getting to toxic levels.
Rueby may be a little extreme with his comments on certain top players but I don't think he is wrong.

I agree with pretty much all of what you wrote.
I just think the organization needs a restructuring from top down.
I want a real hockey guy to come in and expand the executive level (we've all read how the team is lacking in front office roles) and then deal with what's going on in the room.
I think you're right about personality issues. And personality issues can kill a dressing room especially when a team is losing.
If the internal player issues are real, Green and JB have allowed them to fester for way too long.
Another reason why they should be dealt with first. |

I can confidently say that Miller isn’t going anywhere. The org doesn’t believe he is the problem in the room and they don’t want to lose any players that “drive” play. I think Boeser is gone |

There's got to be some big player moves coming as well.
The only question is who makes them and when.
Like you've been saying, perhaps they just tank the season and deal with everything from player moves to firings in the offseason. |

I want to trade Miller because he should bring back the best return and I have ZERO confidence that he'll sign here after next season. |

I'll throw my opinion out there and say I don't want to trade Boeser.
But I'm of the belief that there are no untouchables and would entertain offers for anyone. |

The thing is that his contract is really good. Plus he's got 1 more year after this one.
That should bring in a haul this TDL. A team that gets him gets more than a rental and an affordable top 6 to boot.
Miller is the perfect trade asset.
Edit:. And I would not trade Bo. I think the criticism against him is overblown. |

Yeah he is the perfect trade asset I just don't trust anyone in this organization to make that trade. |

Good. The new regime need a prime trade chip to start a new retool on the fly. Hopefully, someone is in place well before the TDL. |

Hopefully. The current regime doesn’t deserve a new coach or a chance to make trades. |

The only big thing the Canucks have done well for these two years is lose. Play to your strength . Accept a top three pick and make the adjustments in the summer.

Which is why try the Coach first. If the players can't be pro's at this, the highest level of Hockey on the Planet we have serious issues. I'd like to see what a new voice with proper systems can do before we strip it all down. Hawks are 5-1 under the new Coach. These boys have shown they can win they just need to be shown the way. |
