The thing that stands out to me is what they think of Boeser. - VANTEL
i totally agree. you've mentioned it a few times but the way they (Green) has used boeser (at least this year) has been interesting.
interesting in the sense of "what they think of" him as you say. i would agree that it isn't simply a case of spreading the offence but more as to where he fits in on the team.
i know boeser is a bit of a polarizing figure these days but i think it's the coaching rather than the player that's the problem. |

To be fair Fiala is a lot tougher than boeser despite. Being a Smurf |

I like Fiala coming back in a trade for JTM. Fiala and a 1st for JTM and a 4th sounds reasonable. |

i'd rather they did a 2 d lineup. it doesn't necessarily have to be a box set up either.
i'm not a fan of the guy but i've thought myers has been somewhat effective on the pp when he's been given the opportunity. effective in the sense of being positively involved in the play if not getting points. |

They hold out your top scorer, you essentially throw in the towel on the season. - VanHockeyGuy
Meh. If they hold him out for one game it's not going to make or break the season. Not saying hold him out til the TDL.. I'm not even saying hold him out at all. I'm just hoping they don't rush a trade |

Fiala is on a one year deal though. He is still an RFA but a UFA IN 2 years? I’d want somebody with more control |

I like that they are trying Podk at center. He is all over the ice anyways so let him have at it.

No to Fiala
That is a rebuild on the fly move. Either take picks and do this right or keep Miller and change the coach and go for it. |

That would be classic JB. Trade a point per game Alpha player for a slumping return on a RFA deal and overpay to keep him... |

Benning doesn't need picks, he's fighting for his job.

Vancouver should do what the Edmonton Elkamos did yesterday. Fire everyone from ownership down. and if they can fire ownership too. |

I was told a week ago that we would get an indication of who the Aquilini's leaned on for help with finding a organizational leader.
"If the name that emerges is Jim Rutherford,
@Canucks
ownership likely has taken guidance and recommendation from the
@NHL
head office." |

Perhaps but Miller is older and is approaching regression age in addition to the fact he will likely run straight to UFA status and cost an arm and a leg on a long-term contract.
Guy plays one zone of the ice. Trade the selfish deadbeat. |

if you trade him then you have made your choice to blow this team up and start over, which means picks and prospects, NOT middling RFA's! |
