i'm going to go out on a limb and say that when jb is replaced on a permanent basis, a big name will come in to organize shop.

i think FA will have been humbled enough to give some autonomy to the new guy. plus anyone (with a name) will demand full control of hockey ops.

so just like a philandering spouse who has been caught, FA will be on his best behaviour... for the first couple of seasons. and then he'll revert back to his meddling ways.

but to be fair, linden didn't have the resume to demand full control. it would have been easier for FA to insert himself into the decision making process with someone with no experience than if he tried it with someone with 20 years experience.

another point is that FA is the face of the family but what do the other brothers think? are they in on the decisions as well or if they're not, are they cool with FA's antics actions? maybe they'll tell him to back off and let the professionals work.
