didn't hold back his thoughts on #Canucks ownership putting the coach in the line of fire.

Yes best case for right now. Tanking at the 20 game mark is stupid. Many clubs can turn the season around with some changes and some good fortune. CGY similar situation last year. Dissention in the room and mngt Sutter comes in. Took awhile but they have bought into his philosophy and systems and are seeing results. Not a huge Sutter fan but results are results. Blackhawks are 5-1 since the coaching change. Start with the Coach and see if he can get that room in order and get the players to buy in. If not then it's GM and Personel/player changes to follow. Basic Stuff.

Do you think in the next 11 games this team is going to turn everything around and magically become the best team in the NHL? that would be the 30 game mark.

Petey and Boeser will both start scoring like top 25 forwards. The entire coaching staff will read Coaching for Dummies and instantly turn into Al Arbour? Do you see the D turning into the best in the NHL overnight?

IMO if they were thinking of firing Green or any of the coaches they would not be on the road trip.

Sometimes you need to accept where you stand on the food chain.

there's no need to rush a trade. trade value will only get higher as the bids start coming in up to the deadline.

if a trade (for any player) is being discussed now with a team, i hope the canucks shop the deal around the league to see if they can get better before accepting.

serious questions: if you change the coach and they still miss the playoffs, do you fire JB? if so, do you insist the next GM keep the newly hired coach or do you have 3 coaches (complete coaching staffs?) with brand new contracts signed within 12 months?
