A lot of people don't understand that Fiala is not a bad move. If he fits and we improve to a Playoff Team, then Miller was the issue, if we still suck then he is easily worth a 1st + at TDL. So it all depends on what the + being added to Fiala is.

In today's blog, I ponder the Flames' turnaround under Darryl Sutter and wonder if the Canucks could benefit from a similar coaching change...

serious questions: if you change the coach and they still miss the playoffs, do you fire JB? if so, do you insist the next GM keep the newly hired coach or do you have 3 coaches (complete coaching staffs?) with brand new contracts signed within 12 months?
