Not "giving you" anything. UPL hasn't proven to be the best except 1 year in Juniors. His proper development is far and away more important than the 26th team winning a game in November.
Good grief.
Trust the Process. - IonSabres
Well a couple games over Dell wouldn't kill him!! |

The Bill's are NOT who we thought they were!
Playoffs?! PLAYOFFS!!!?
When asked about his team's Execution, he replied I am all for it
Very fitting for this team at this point. They need to get their collective heads out of their asses.

Think the Right side is alright when Brown is at RT and Williams moves inside. Hopefully with Feliciano able to come of IR and Hopefully Brown back are line can be sufficient. |

I think you let Skinner, VO, and Bryson off way too easy. TT was the one working to kill the clock, those guys were pylons. He didn't leave 2 guys wide open in front of the net for no reason. - Lunaion
You're probably right. Tbh I watched the play one time (live) and turned the TV off. Bottom line they didn't deserve a point in that game with how they played the 3rd |

Gotta figure out those 3rd periods, it's like they forget the system when the 3rd starts |

The Aaron Dell experiment needs to conclude.
UPL needs to earn a roster spot.
At this point….I’d rather see Houser than Dell or perhaps there’s someone else playing somewhere else they could get. It’s a shame watching points with valiant efforts go wasted.
Part of this team improving/developing comes with confidence in net too. - JYD
To be fair to Dell, the Sabres were so badly outplayed in the 3rd that they were extremely lucky it was still tied with seconds to go in regulation.
I would not pin that loss on Dell. The team was hideous in the 3rd, yet again. |

Both games dell has played we lose in the last seconds of the game. He needs to go.
The wingers should not have been below the circles. I hate when wingers collapse like that never ends well but holy frank can we get a timely save or even .900 sv % 1 franking time from this joke of a goalie.
Never going to win high scoring games with a career AHL back-up

This is the wrong approach. JJ, Quinn, Krebs are getting massive playing time, top PP unit time, big game moment time experience and excelling.
Why throw them in Buffalo now to play 9-11 minutes a game in a limited role? That’s what would happen. They would get playing time with the shat players, very limited minutes, meaningless experience now. Or, they can play to possibly win a Calder cup in Rochester |

I pin the loss on bad goaltending and Rookie coaching.
If Dustin or Anderson are in net we win that game.

Agreed build like Tampa did.
Let the kids go for the Calder and bring the whole AHL team up the next year.

I'm sure everyone in that organization, from the GM down to the ushers, knows Dell isn't an NHL goalie. Unfortunately, until Anderson comes back, that's who they have. Not much you can do except limit his starts. |

Shoulda payed Ullmark. We have the frankin money to spare.
That's 3 or 4 more W's with a good goalie.
Management and coaching need to get on the same page.
Either were trying to compete or were trying to tank. Can't do both successfully.

how about we give some credit to kreider whose veteran saavy allowed him to win a battle for the puck in a 2-on-3 situation while also giving some credit to the three rangers who formed a perfect 3-on-2 triangle to allow for the play to unfold as it did? |

Bryson gave up on helping for some reason. Olof actually picked up his man then proceeded to lay down instead of just taking away his man and Skinner got beat.
Both Bryson and Skinner should not have been out there.
It was a good play by the Strangers. Horrible breakdown by us.
Love how Dell didnt even try to get across either. Just stuck his stick out a bit.
I franking hate that twat. |

I agree. This assertion has more to do with his complete body of work from SJ to Buffalo. This team's overall hump seems to be not believing in themselves when playing premier teams. Boston, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and last night immediately come to mind. It's a mixture of two solid periods followed by a "lucky to be here" 3rd period and/or way over respecting the other team.
They really need to get Anderson back in the shuffle. He and Tokarski at least give them a chance with any team in the league. Dell. As soon as I see his name attached to the starting lineup I immediately chalk it up as a loss unless they are playing Arizona or maybe Ottawa.
Looking forward to being there for the Boston game Wednesday. I think it's gonna be their turning point game. It's a shame this town is flocking to see the underperforming Bills while ignoring a Sabre team they've desperately been complaining about seeing play good hockey with optimal effort. Wake up. This is the beginnings of a very solid team developing right in front of our eyes.

No way in hell would I have given that guy the money Boston gave him (or probably more, to stay here).

It is difficult (impossible really) to make any determination aside from what the goal this year was for the Sabres when you saw who they signed for goaltenders. |
