Dude was literally a replacement for Lazar in that deal. And from what I can tell, they both (Lazar and Bjork) have served no purposed (except Bjork has helped get us to the floor). It's almost like this post is disingenuous.

O and the certain player you are talking about has 4 goals (2 EN) and 9 points in 15 games.. Seems after his hot start in Boston, he's right back to being the guy he was last in New Jersey, then Arizona, then Buffalo. Taylor Hall's best days are behind him it appears. We'll see if Kisakov becomes anything.

He's 40 years old. To much mileage on him for him to play enough games to make a difference.

He'd be a great back-up.

Novikov gets an invite to the WJC. The Sabres haven't sent a late rounder since Olofsson. Might send Konecny too, to the Czech team.

I only defend what I write, enough there to keep me busy. I do remember a lot of people saying that we should have at least gotten it to be a conditional first if Bos made, the final which they didn't so moot point. Bjork (and Lazar) are what they are and have been. Lazar a physical presence that can add a little offense and Bjork a speedster that can add a little offense. Is what it is and lamenting on that part of the Hall trade (or Hall's time here) makes little sense anymore. None of the players in that trade are standing out apart from Hall's tear (to get a decent contract perhaps?) last year.

I wonder if Josh Bloom gets a look for the Canadians. He's exceptional in his own end and is a hurricane on the PK.

I just don't see them trading for a goalie during the season unless there's a plan for said guy to be part of the next 2-3 years here, and I don't see teams giving up goaltending.

I think they get Anderson back, and see what happens.

He's a big boy. Gotten called up to the K I see, probably always more of a defensive defenseman.

I am the most interested in Kisakov from our Russian invasion, and no not because he was the Hall 2nd. He was the most volatile ranked player I have seen in a while. Some had him at early 20s, others had him at mid 100s. Quite the gap.

I'm not saying I agree w it. I've agreed from day one that their goaltending would let them down this year. I just can't see them giving up assets "mid-season" for one.

I do hope I'm wrong and that Adams sees the potential for a decent, fun year and if he can get one without overpaying, I'm all for it.

You are right. I'd just like to start winning some games we deserve to win instead of losing cause our goalies can't make routine saves.

I think the players feel differently.

The coaches plan this year is development, but development and winning don't have to be mutually exclusive.

I hope they keep the pressure on Adams.
