Would you legit say that this team wouldn’t be in a better position right now in the standings if the goalies had say a 910 s% and say 2.5 gaa?
It’s not the only issue and the team does get outplayed but some better or league average goaltending would certainly help.

we get those save numbers from tokarski and anderson (roughly .914 save percentage this year)

they stole us a few games, which is what you get from decent goalies

we stole our 3 or 4 wins in the first 20 games

expecting this team to compete with bolts, bruins, leafs, caps, canes, panthers etc over an 82 game season with a goalie is unrealistic given the current roster

if you swapped out pysyk, bjork, hayden, drake and vinnie with hamilton, danault, coleman, saad and granlund then maybe

I had Eckler and Taylor in one league and I lost that game because Dak threw up on himself, Cooper got Covid so I had to pick up Harris from NO because the Rams are on a bye (wouldn't have mattered).

He had Moore, Mooney, Ertz, Mixon, Rodgers and Jefferson in his lineup

I understand that, but he actually played better up here than he has down there for the most part. Plus you are hoping he is your future, a few games here and there isn't gonna hurt him.

Agreed, I don’t think we are close to competing with the likes of Tampa and Boston and I don’t expect us to be there for a while.

I took your post to mean better goaltending wouldn’t improve the team, misread by me, I mean it would but not even close to the level the good teams are on, maybe 2-3 more points if Andy had played over Dell.

How many starting goalies have we faced?

Let's see how this team responds to this little crisis, take away the 3rd periods and they have played alright. It's like they forget how to play in the 3rd. They are a young team, gonna have to learn to get through these rough patches and have fewer and fewer of them. Gotta play better defense, especially in front of are net we are a bunch of cream puffs.
