It was just a matter of time before Mr. Murphy showed up for his appearance for the evening |

Play more Gus - LAHawk
Past 2 games the Murphy i know has come back to play hockey, hopefully he can resemble an NHL defenseman once again, soon |

Too slow between the ears and at the feet to play in the NHL. He's almost completely useless now. |

Wait...the SN announcers just said they were wondering if this was going to be a trap game for Calgary...does that mean teams adjust their style to their opponents?

Dach does absolutely nothing for cat and Kane—- let Kane and toews play together and move Dach with kubalik and hagel |

Reese Johnson, hahaha, nice |

Trap game means that the better team (Calgary) may overlook or take for granted playing a lesser team (Chicago). So for a bettor, betting on the favorite may be a "trap" since the favorite may not cover the point spread. |

Yes! Dach will develop his own scoring touch better on another line. He is going to defer too much to those two and he's not able to get the faceoff wins for them.

Oh interesting - thanks. I'm completely ignorant (and will probably remain so) to all things sports betting. |

My point exactly—- 3-4th line player at best for a third overall pick… nice |

I guess if you can maintain your composure and not commit an offensive zone penalty, that's good enough for King right now |

Not just a gambling term. If a team has games against two solid opponents with one against a bad team in between, the middle game is a psychological trap game for which the team might have an emotional let down. The term is often used in college (and pro) football as well. |

One thing I've noticed from Dach several times this game is him racing with the puck down the ice, well ahead of Kane and DBC, and heading straight for the goalie. Unless he's going to shoot, it makes for an awkward set up for one of the other two. So, he's not holding onto the puck to set up a play OR shoot, but he does try to release it to one of them as soon as he's out of options.
Maybe he should hang back a bit when he crosses the center line so he's not blindly back passing to one of them and can instead see the play develop?
