Happy Thanksgiving down there boys!
- Thorny87

Thanks Thorny!

I'm thankful I have you guys to enjoy the games with. I mean, my wife's favorite statement is.. "are they on again tonight?".

Puustinen is actually 2 years older than Legare and Poulin. He was also playing against men in Finland. He also skates really well.

Not saying Poulin or Legare will make it. Just saying I'm not judging anything after 15 games of AHL hockey.

I was just going to say that.

The fact they aren't lighting up the AHL maybe means they aren't stars, but I didn't think either was anyways. The question is will they develop enough to add some size to the line-up down the road.

I try to at least watch the goals, and at least half those Puustinen goals started with Poulin winning board battles. Frankly Puustinen hasn't been as productive since they split them up.

And like Mike said, center has been a problem. Might be post covid recovery, but Zohorna has been almost a non factor and he's been their top center

I’m judging based on their last year in the Q.

The problem for him is that no matter how he plays in the regular season, the same question marks will be there come Game 1

He's looked good. Wonder if the new goalie coach has anything to do with that.

We have to make the playoffs, don't assume we will. It would be awesome if we get to see what Jarry can do in game 1.

Poulin and Legare are junk.
- Rinosaur

They definitely are not difference makers. Could they late bloom at some point? Sure, but I tend to lean your way.

For anyone wondering why Carter is playing above ERod its quite simple, its the same reason he is taking faceoffs on the PP... He is 55.5% on FO where ERod is a respectable 50.5. Apparently that extra 5% is important enough for the coaches

Last night was closer to what the minute splits should be. Carter got quite a bit of PP time that added to his TOI. I did notice Sullivan got ERod and Heinen out there in different situations away Simon. Not sure if it was intentional or not but I liked it.

Make no mistake I still think Rodrigues has a horseshoe up his arse. I just think it's foolish not to ride this hot streak as long as possible.

I might even watch some football today....on all day. My 8 year older bro is a diehard Cowboys fan. He likes football more than hockey ever since his favorite team, the Hartford Whalers, relocated. When that happened he stopped watching and following hockey as much. He was concerned for me for the Pens moving when that was looming over us years ago.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Yanks around here. Cheers.

Do you think they keep the Penguin as their name when they move this team to a new better supporting city? Do you all plan to keep rooting for them after they move or will you move on to a new team?
