To me the biggest reason the Flyers can't generate offense is they spend way too much energy trying to get the puck out of their own end, and once they do they are too tired to do much else other than dump the puck in and get a line change. You just can't play hockey like this! Zone exists have got to be cleaner!

I feel sorry for Hart and Jones realizing they need to only give up a goal or less to allow this team a chance to win. And even then it’s still a challenge to get the win when they do.

I gave the coaching staff cover last season due to the situation and the lack of practice time. While not to the same degree, we're starting to see a lot of the same issues as last year. So no, not an overreaction. The signs have been there all season that it was heading in this direction. Remember how it snowballed last year?
