Sometimes he plays scared imo. He needs to use his speed and be assertive.
- Hextall271

ya he'll go in with speed, then panic and not know what to do with it. Pass it to someone thats covered. drives me nuts

Do I seem like the kinda guy who gets bothered by rando dimwits?

Did the wife make some eggs poached in tea recently?

OMG I am repeating something you told me here!

When we’ve seen him at his best he joins the rush and can score too. Plays scared too often imo.

It's interesting because recent comments by Flahr suggested that Frost needed to work on the details in his play. What I've seen from him in this game is that doesn't seem to be the case. He's made a number of subtle plays in this game.

Frost has played well, I must admit. He is more noticeable in this game than he was the entire pre-season. Frost was a little tentative early which is expected, but has been getting into the plays much more. Really rooting for him, we need him badly this season.

Frost hasn't been tentative at all in this game in my opinion. He has been in the mix from the go. You can see the ability he has.

SAnheim needs to do that more, he can do it with some good speed.
- bradster

The thing about Sanheim that drives me nuts is when he has a chance to drill someone into the boards he never seems to want to do it! He has to do a better job using this size around the net and along the boards.

Technical glitch would be my guess.
- PT21

That would also be my guess, because the @Panthers game-day blog never appeared on the team index page:
https://www.hockeybuzz.co.../team/Philadelphia-Flyers

Even this morning when Bill posted it.

I noticed him in the PP in the 1st dumping in the puck and then not getting after it, kind of backing off, but overall he has played well.

You don't have to drill a player into the boards to be an effective defenseman. The best play a defenseman can make is to use leverage to wedge a player off the puck, gather it and outlet it or skate it in transition. Some of the best defenseman in Flyers history, Howe, Desjardins and Timonen rarely drilled someone into the boards. Win puck battles but you don't need to rattle the boards.
