Yes, I will. Because by far the easiest (or most common, based on evidence) way to build a championship team is to go through lean years where stadiums tend to be semi-full. Teams from big market teams that reach the top never can recoup those lost years of revenue, because just being kinda ok ensures almost max revenue.

Just look at franchise value change and correlate it to draft positions (as a proxy for final season standins, incl. playoffs) and you will see this.
