As Gino's said, it was totally the wrong thing to do.

Of course it does, without a natural ability to just blaze by everyone with speed you have to understand situations that allow you to score. Luc Robitaille was a terrible skater too but he was smart like Boeser. They both understand how to put themselves in scoring positions.

He had a series with a breakaway, rebound bank shot and then slid over to the left circle for a one timer. He should have scored on one of those chances, but I agree, it’s the smarts that lead to those three chances.

I don’t really get all the Bo hate. A captain can’t just try harder and will a fundamentally broken system and team to do better ... especially when half the team has given up waiting for a change.

Miller bringing the puck outta the zone himself with the goalie pulled and then blindly flipping one up the middle for icing is all one really needs to see. #gaveup

He’s not strong on his skates or a a great skater, but he understands where to be. Scoring goals at the highest levels of hockey is an extremely difficult task, despite what anyone who’s never been there thinks.

Enjoy!

Canucks locker room intel:

- Petey’s ego is insane. Room is super cliquey. He won’t play with anybody not in his circle. Reason why him and Garland haven’t been put on the same line.

- Hughes also bad, but not petey level.

- JT is apparently losing his mind because he can’t stand how the young guys carry themselves and dont give a (frank) about losing. He won’t re-sign in van.

- Nobody respects Bo in the locker room and he just gets walked over as a captain.

- After the win on Friday there was a big verbal fight in the dressing room. Coaches called a meeting that went until after midnight.

- CanuckDon

OEL and CG must be so happy to be here. You wonder if EP and QH were shipped out, JTM would resign.

He’s a nice person and a decent player but he’s too passive to be a captain in the NHL. He doesn’t bring enough to the table.

Ffs Lefty, he is dealing with Pouty and Queenie, how could things go wrong?

I don’t think anyone’s hating on him, he’s just not in a good position in a weak organization.

When a team is losing like this, no one is spared from the hate.

Except Demko.

I know a few guys who’d grab them by the throat and punch their lights out if what Don says is true. Strong team leadership resolves those issues collectively within a room.

I’m on #teamBo not #teamJT.

I’ve worked in organizations with broken leadership, it’s tough to motivate the people around you when they see the guys at the top being morons.

Demko made some amazing saves but it’s hard to stay focused when the teams playing like that.

from someone who’s played at a high level, I’m sorry but you’re grossly misinformed. A lot of stuff happens within a dressing room that’s never spoken about and it’s very rare everyone likes everyone. Strong teams pull together for the greater good.

Jonathan Quick wasn’t very well liked in LA (apparently) but Sutter got everyone pulling in the right direction, that’s what I mean by leadership. If what Don says is true Travis Green is 100% part of the problem and guys most likely don’t have a lot of respect for him.

JT Miller on whether the #Canucks are working for each other: I don’t know. I think sometimes we could probably do that a little more consistently, if I’m speaking honestly.
