They need a good goalie or all the young players are going to go into tank mode and not learn a thing this year. They will digress and then not be able to play well when the better players come back. All the good draft picks over the years will be for not, and the Sabres will be letting them go like Jack and Sam. This mediocre play has got to stop. The team looks like they have given up. It is much too early in the season to give up. They will still be in the bottom eight, however, being dead last again is not good for morale at all.

I think we all agree, neither of those INT's were "hero ball" Josh. Diggs took the wrong option on the DB first INT and 2nd, poop happens (Josh's first career Red Zone INT) but really the defensive player made a phenomenal play on an uncatchable ball.


Nice bounce-back game for him, really. We needed this win, but it's very clear we can dominate weaker teams and struggle vs. similarly talented teams. We played down to Pittsburgh and Jacksonville and really only looked like complete crap against Indianapolis.

Diggs wasn’t open on the first Int,
he shouldn’t have thrown it there

And he held the ball in the pocket too long on the 2nd Int,
giving the pass rusher time to hit his arm & cause the pass to float into the air

Not saying Allen looked bad
But at the time of those mistakes, we were only up 10-0
Thankfully we weren’t going against another offense that could take advantage (like the Colts did last week),
or this could’ve been a different game

You know. The 2021 Buffalo Bills are reminding me an awful lot of the 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Just a thought. Remember, Tampa was 7-4 last year around this time and had a couple of head-scratching losses and got demolished by New Orleans in week 9 by a score of 38-3. Very, very similar to our Colts loss.

They came out of their bye week hot at 7-5 and never looked back. We had an early bye and came out of it asleep...
