I am going to be very aggravated with Star and Brown if they are out again. It has affected are season.

I get it, but if this team can't figure out a way to overcome missing those two, it was never a Super Bowl contender to begin with. Those two are solid players. They're not all-stars by any means.

Not having Star was rough for the run defense but what really hurt was not having Star AND Edmunds

They're overvaluing him as always, but he does have a lot going for him right now. His PNHLe model has him firmly in the 1st line potential territory though and he's had a great time in the AHL at 19yo...there is a lot to like.

Peterka needs help on defense...that's what we're waiting on Seth and company to round out.

Think it's more than 2, it's more like 2 on each line. Edmunds helps secure the D line, Star is the run stuffer. Then you have Feliciano out, who is an upgrade over his replacements, and a big loss of Spencer. You aren't wrong, they need to overcome, but it is a bit more missing than some are giving credit for.

Go and get this guy.

Put it this way Devonte Wyatt #95 is 6'4 315 lbs.

Jordan Davis towers over him.

Tage Thompson is looking good. Probably should have given him a full season or two in Rochester back when he was traded for but hindsight is 20/20

He has the tools to be a point per game player and is 1 point away from his total last year and already reached his goal total. If Mittelstadt can be a 50-60 point player we might have something here with JJ, Quinn and Power joining the team next year.

No there not, but it allows players to fall where they should be and they help make us a better overall team.

I feel like injuries hurt the sabres more than any other team. Even going back to LaFontaine and Mogilny breaking his ankle it seems like guys are injured more than any other team to the point where its hereditary to the sabres family

Take it for what it's worth, but a co-worker of mine knows Ellis and was told it was/is a sports hernia.

The wrist makes more sense (recalling that play), but we'll see.

Non-surgical sports hernia is a 4 to 6 week timeline so it could be

I feel like the bold is very overstated as he needs no more help defensively than any other young player.

I read Lance from BN say that and indicate it would be why he would keep Peterka in the AHL again next season, which is total bullpoop IMO.

Sens watcher here.

Anderson, as you've mostly seen is pretty solid if you play good structure around him.

But you need a solid back up.
Sens are in a free fall here, and need a center who breaths air, or a defenseman who can use the correct handed stick.

We have Forsberg in net, he's been good when used with a competent partner.
