The number of people willing to give up Kerfoot before the leafs have another guy who can play in a top 6 C role if JT or Matthews gets hurt are truly adorable.

He’s solid as hell, plays in both defensive and offensive roles and is by far the most versatile player on the team. He’s even 6th in team scoring and has the best +/- stat on the entire team. However so many of you are ready to move him in an instant.

I’m not against moving him so long as it’s for someone who can do what he does, and good luck finding that for 3.5 million.

Dubas didn't take anyone off the roster last deadline and I don't think he will again this year. If Kerfoot is moved, off season is where it would be done.

The leafs can’t afford a guy who makes more than Kerfoot to basically do Kerfoot’s job.

Play a top 6 LW unless JT or Matthews gets hurt and move to C. Also capable of switching from an offensive to a defensive role on the wing or if someone like Kampf got hurt play C on the defensive line.

The only way Kerfoot gets replaced is if the leafs find someone who can do everything he does but for less money.

Also I read up on potential teams Miller could get traded to if the Canucks do decide to do it and I haven’t seen the leafs mentioned once by anyone. Like I said it’s nothing more than a fantasy.
