What if an NHL team bought a minority share in a Swedish Elite league team? They would have the ability to provide high quality players to the organization that had received “development” in North American or other European leagues at lower levels. NHL teams loan players to leagues all the time…

I just turned on for the 3rd period. It's been an alright game. It's different when you aren't cheering for a team that is sucking.

here's a thought/question:

TG was re-signed only last May. Don't you think they would/should have a file of other potential coaches on it. I mean to say, wouldn't they internally have discussions about potentially replacing him and what options there would be & what type of coach is needed? We're only 6 months out from when he signed the contract.

Why does everything seem like it's come out of nowhere with this organization.

I used to watch them all the time, believe it or not I used to be in a hockey pool with the current Premier and a couple of Ministers 30 years ago. Maybe I just lost interest and just cut back my hockey after years of pools, when I think back now, what a waste of fucking time I could have made so much more money working than hoping for $20 a week and bragging rights.

i remember during the contending years (2009-12) how it felt weird to expect to win. it didn't feel "canuck" to expect to win.

aside from a few years of good teams, this (nowadays) is exactly how it feels being a canuck fan.

Depends on who wanted to re-sign whom. If JB wanted Green back and FA was against it, I feel like he would be mad and both would have been fired already.
