I won’t go so far as to say the players quit this year on the team.
I will say that the group of players they do have is just not good enough.
It’s easy to blame this guy or that guy.
In reality the lack of direction from the front office on down is manifesting itself onto the ice. - bird_dog_pa
No truer words spoke in that last paragraph. I just really think the goal is to be playoff relevant and avoid at all cost a rebuild situation |

Laughton is well overpaid as a 4C. 3rd line winger in a pinch but he is a 4C no more. Lindblom I believe he has real middle 6 talent - Just5
I really thought lindblom had turned a corner but there’s another guy who’s invisible. |

Yea G and braun could prob get back substantial value. Risto should bring something. Jones depending on how his year goes maybe - Just5
Poor braun the guy showed up in what I believe was great shape this year. Going to be great on the 3rd pair. Oops end up on the 1st pair slotted incorrectly. He’s down what he can and can do it on a game here or there basis. The Ellis injury has royally (frank)ed us |

Kind of it, kills transition, Flyers have zero breakout. Braun is playing really well but his skill set is not top pair or really even 2nd. Depth is the issue, lose one D and 1 center and your team is just plugging along.
Thompson needs to sit. They need speed throughout |

Are they being told to chip the puck out? Is this the strategy? Yes there is no breakout. They make love to the boards. So embarrassing when the other team is just waiting on a puck on our pp that gets rimmed around |

It's time to try to move Giroux.
The Flyers will never be a Cup Contender under his watch. Co-C? Sure.....
This team is solid. The coaching is solid. The management is solid. The future is solid as far as salary cap goes.
Who would you take for $8m per for Claude? It would have to be somebody good, and not a bad apple.
$7m for JVR? Evander Kane.......meh. I would be OK with that.
It's time to do something, Fletch. |

This garbage starts at the top with clueless Dave Scott, oozes down the hill to nepotism’s mediocre child, Chuck Fletcher, and bottom outs into the overrated cesspool that is Alain Vigneault
Comcast needs to either fire Scott and put a real hockey guy in charge or, better yet, sell the team to someone who actually gives a (frank) about the on ice product. |

I think this is a bit of an overreaction. I don’t think they make the deals they did this passed summer and in years passed if they didn’t care. I mean, I live in Detroit. If you wanna talk about not caring and collecting money. Look no further than the Ford family and how they run the Lions. The Lions will never win anything. |

If they do this is actually the time. Supposed to be a deep draft. |

Willman is just not an NHL player so its good they sent him down. I'm not a Bunnaman fan but he does have NHL experience and at one point did win an NHL job out of camp, so maybe he can at least close to a competent 4th line player, which will be more that what Willman gave them. - jd250
Please regal us all again in how the off-season moves cf made improved this team? |

You know it’s about to get real bad when the coach continues to put a rosy spin on putrid after putrid performance |

That is what coaches do -- could you imagine the uproar if they said we sucked ass tonight?? It would be refreshing, but we are not going to hear it.
My snarky comment is more directed at Bill who used those same words to support AV at the beginning of the collapse last year and at different times since his hire.
Cannot wait for the 4 in 6 narrative before Sunday's game! |
