Flyers basically played that period with one line, zero defense pairings and a good goalie. Amazing to be leading 2-1.

Whether it is the coaches or the players. It's the coaches job to correct issues and improve the team. All last year after the first month or so, we never saw the team improve in a number of areas. We're seeing the same pattern this year. Game after game, they are getting throttled and are only in games due to goaltending.

Only going to get better folks ... its the dreaded 2nd period!!
