It was known Fletch wanted to move Ghost and Arizona had the room and they stuck it to Fletch by requiring the 2nd round pick.
Very much unlike when Edmonton HAD to deal Talbot to get guys off IR and Fletch didn't get any picks in return.
I don't think Fletch is terrible, but I heard this organization say they were ready to "win now" when they fired Hextall. It's been 3 years.... same issues plague this team. - rayc16
Thank you, i said it then, I still say it. Fletch gets the short end of every trade he has made |

Flyers main problem is that they never have the puck. Risto hasn't helped. - Tomahawk

I agree…my point is anyone could of stepped up and traded for him for nothing. Sure he has a decent cap hit…but if teams thought he was still a good d man they would have found a way. For good players they always do. |

When the goalies stop playing out of their minds you get a real glimpse of this team's true level. |

Yes, but Risto is doing what he is supposed to be doing most of the time, he's not the cause of this problem! |

Flyers main problem is when they show up game day. |

Hilarious how the Flyers blow three 1 goal leads, then when they get behind they mail it in.
What a miserable, pathetic, gutless franchise. |

Its interesting ... see when a player like Svechnikov gets the puck in a prime shooting area, he picks the top shelf and scores. When the Flyers get the puck in the same area, they either pass it or shoot it into the goalies chest. This is the big difference! |

High glove/high blocker. More like 80%.

Understood and agree with anyone could have had him. It'll will be interesting if they trade him at the deadline what they could get for him.
I think Ghost lost his confidence here and who knows he may not keep up this pace.
I watched a couple of Yotes games. He looks like he's enjoying playing and I can't say he looked like that the last few years here. |

This team is a hot mess. Hart not on his game today.
This is what happens when you don’t get A+ goaltending. |

Just worried he’s becoming shell shocked again like last year. |

Maybe, but I am not blaming the tenders for the season. We got a +++ goaltending last game and lost. It’s not the problem |

All year he has been solid high and low. The goaltending is not the issue so far. It may become a problem like last year if this keeps up though |
