oh come on

if you don't define the comments here as "hate" then I guess you can call it "resentment", or "bitterness", something like that lol... whatever it was I just find it was kinda disproportionate at times.

anyway, bring in the new guy...!!

I think it's called epic failure on the 5 Year Plan.

yeah the new GM they'll hire will speak french, but imho it is a possibility that they hire an anglophone as president of hockey ops, if such a position is created.

I think he is a bad GM, and he had a shot at 2 plans, failed on both AFAIAC.

Hate?

The only thing I hate is he is GM.

He seems like a good guy, and for sure, loyal to his people. Which may actually be his downfall.

I would've preferred him as coach... his intensity would be better suited behind the bench, the GM position requires a bit more composure than that imo

meh. i think he gets a lot of credit for other people's work in boston. he was only the GM for 4 months. he took over in march. he did sign chara and savard but as far as that draft goes? i am in the camp that was more the work of the scouting staff that was already there.

his work with the rangers is still to be determined. IMESHO!!

Yeah.

But the flip side, he kept his mouth shut about the sexual assault in Chicago and he drafted a convicted sex offender....

So there is that, too.

he's one of the only guys in the organization that I find firing rather than just letting him quit would be more satisfying.

tbf, he was not around the team much that season and as far as the report goes, there is no mention of him being involved in the meetings covered by the report.
