tbf, he was not around the team much that season and as far as the report goes, there is no mention of him being involved in the meetings covered by the report.

Reports on SN is that no one from the Habs has been in contact with Roy (at least as of yet).

I think Gorton comes in and does the dirty deeds.

Also, if Gorton is the guy, seems to me a major focus on draft and player development incoming.

either that or he'll completely embrace it as the megalomaniac he tends to be... anyway I think he's matured a lot ever since having his first experience as an NHL coach, let's just hope it'll be enough to avoid a total circus if they do hire him.

He's all or nothing to me. Your either go full GM and HC and let him run with it or you stay away. I'd stay away. Maybe see if he wants to be an ambassador or some poop.
