It's only cause that loser writer Haggerty calling out Ranger fans. Gotta protect our people
- TPC

I didn't read anything by Haggerty. I'm just amazed this is a thing. I was laughing my ass off when Panarin did it. Rangers don't help themselves "reporting it to the league". Grow a (frank)ing pair. It was a funny incident pay the 5k, let it go.

"Can I also say, for the record, that New York Rangers fans might be the biggest crybabies in the league rooting for a team that hasn’t won jack in almost 30 years? I am impressed at the sheer amount of crybaby soup they spill over their hockey team. The cherry on top of the sundae? Panarin was fined $5,000 by the NHL Department of Player Safety just as I said he would much to the dismay of so many screaming, uninformed fans of the Blueshirts."

This is what passes for sports journalism? He works for NBC sports and that's a take he's allowed to have without an editor or someone asking him wtf he is talking about? Are we not supposed to root for our team because they haven't won since '94?

Or his headline post on twitter or whatever that "Panarin was big mad". It's like everyone is allowed to report in a stupid manner now and have zero journalistic integrity or intelligence. I guess he knows his audience or something.

This is how so many people write/report now and it's awful.

I wouldn't hate if the Rangers tried to lock up Rooney for another year now at around one million. He seems to fit in well here and is a really solid 4th line center

It's not fatphobic, but you're being insensitive to the thousands of chairs that man has terrorized for years

In a way yes. But you ever notice those back to back games when something happens is always a let down...

Read that Gorton might look for some Ranger prospects now that he is in Montreal.

Jeff, if you are reading- Krav, Hajek, Georgie all avail ASAP

Wilson body slams and face plants opponent = $5k fine
Panarin throws his glove at a player = $5k fine
Lemiuex bites opponents hand twice = $5k fine

Absolutely no problems with the CBA regarding max player fines

- rrentz

Plus Hank squirts water at Crysby = 5K fine!

Read this about Laf from SprecksNYR & HockeyStatMiner

He’s played 76 career games, almost one full NHL season and has 17 goals and 10 assists.

Alexis Lafreniere is on pace for 20 goals this season as a 20 year old that plays 13:24 a game with no power play time.

Really isn't that bad when you remember every. single. one. of Lafreniere's 27 points is at even strength.

76 games deep and he's even ahead of some other 1OA players (Stamkos-26, Tavares-23, Hughes-21) in this regard.

Interesting.

Him and Kakko seem to be getting more confidence. Sucks when a number 1 and 2 dont come out of the gate lighting it up, but a little patience and I think these guys will be fine.
