ya... but the Leafs are from the "weak North division" from last year.... with other weak Canadian teams... all of whom will be over their heads when they have to play the American based teams this season.

clearly teams like Edmonton, Toronto, Calgary can't complete with the rest of the NHL...

and one of the weakest of the weak Canadian teams went the Cup final last year.

TSN talking heads picking Oilers as best canadian team last night was hilarious. Suddenly defensive play doesn't matter when the Leafs are great at it I guess. Oilers are 18th in GA and 29th in shots aginst..

I'm hoping the Habs bring JFJ in as a consultant. And they seriously will need to tear it down there, as they have 4-5 seriously overpriced contracts. Moving Price (if he wants to) would be the kind/considerate thing to do.
