San Jose is in a huge cap crunch, I don't see them retaining anything. - burgh4life87
Kane was placed on waivers and being sent to their AHL affiliate. Possibly just for conditioning, but he is available for claiming. ESPN 'sources' claim he is available at 50% retained.
Sounds to me like they've had enough with the guy.

No idea how Boyle is in two places at once. It could mean O'Connor is running the 3C position.

Yah I read that Kaplan article. I should have been more clear. I don't see them retaining anything more than an even up cap move. They wont retain 50% and take on Zucker is what I was implying. |

Who on the Pens make $3.5M?
Tristen Jarry, he's not going anywhere after the start he's had.
Brian Rust?
Kasperi Kapanen ($3.2)? |

One reason why I retired the day I became eligible.
Except for the guys who frequent this site, of course.

How can you even entertain the idea of E Kane? Dude is a net negative no matter what the circumstances are that would get him onto your team. |

Boo to DOC not being in the line-up. Might as well have kept him at 1C in the minors. |

Yeah, in this projected lineup I'd most definitely swap Simon out for DOC.

I have had my share of positions where it was like this. Once I got out of commercial litigation things just got so much better. |

Question for you guys, but let me preface this by saying I'm not a fan of Kane in the sense I think he's a locker room cancer and a liability on the ice. Yes, he's a beast of a player, but he costs his team with his antics.
It's reported SJ is willing to retain half on Kane. If the Pens were able to send Matheson or Zucker to SJ with 50% retained, do you do it? - Rinosaur
Absolutely not. |

Compared to you I’m probably babysitting wild animals. Some competent guys. I tried to stay residential where it’s just me and two other guys. If I have to go to a commercial job it’s like the jungle. Hate commercial. |

I wouldn't doubt it. Some of the attorneys at my last firm were immature partiers taking advantage of everyone around them, but from the stories my brother has told me (he is an iron worker) I haven't seen poop. |

I'm both mad and happy. He was a Richard, but also pretty good at his job. I hope we can bring in Fickell from Cincy or Campbell from Iowa State. |
