I'm a fan of white noise for work, and there's a guy that hooks up a modular synth to mushrooms on youtube which is pretty fun
Then if I need to really concentrate it's

Nice. I'm sleeping to white noise lately. Space station bedroom sounds lol. Put a bluetooth speaker beside the bed, combined with a weighted blanket I sleep like a dead baby.
My buddy was telling me about youtube videos for babies, they sound really good.

I get that Rolling Stone likes to put put The Greatest lists to generate hits/sell mags but I don’t see the need for any lists other than the ones Aetherial used to do.
My phases included a time when all I listened to was jazz and bluegrass. That makes no sense. - Canada Cup
It was fun to debate and rage against lists when I was a lot younger. These days? I can't even agree with myself most of the time.

I create elaborate debating and voting systems with myself usually involving a plenary and working to an executive council to resolve complicated issues like “what should I have for dinner”

Absolutely love the Beatles. Ringo's all starr band concert has been rescheduled at Casino Rama and I'm taking my son. I've seen Ringo about 15 times - never disappointed, always a great band. The first tour he did with the all starr band included Joe Walsh, Levon Helm, Rick Danko and Billy Preston. Hoping to take him to a McCartney show, if one materializes. - winsix
As much as I love The Beatles and think Ringo is a totally sweet/swell guy, I just could never get into any of his post-Beatles stuff. Having said that, it might be fun to go see his act in concert what with all of the special guests -- I'm sure it's a fun time and less about Ringo doing his solo bits.
I've never seen Paul McCartney live either. It's funny, now that I think about it: I'm not a big fan of any post-Beatles solo stuff. I mean, there are a bunch of tracks from each of them that I really enjoy ("Band on the Run", "My Sweet Lord", "Jealous Guy", etc.) but no one album I point to and say, "this was (frank)ing fantastic".
I could say the same thing about Floyd and Led Zep: I think these guys had a synchronicity together that speaks to me that their solo efforts don't. 🤷

Something special happens when some folks who are somewhat on the same page get together to debate what a song should be.

I got banned for saying he is a troll lol. In other breaking news, 2 + 2 = 4.
