As much as I love The Beatles and think Ringo is a totally sweet/swell guy, I just could never get into any of his post-Beatles stuff. Having said that, it might be fun to go see his act in concert what with all of the special guests -- I'm sure it's a fun time and less about Ringo doing his solo bits.
I've never seen Paul McCartney live either. It's funny, now that I think about it: I'm not a big fan of any post-Beatles solo stuff. I mean, there are a bunch of tracks from each of them that I really enjoy ("Band on the Run", "My Sweet Lord", "Jealous Guy", etc.) but no one album I point to and say, "this was (frank)ing fantastic".
I could say the same thing about Floyd and Led Zep: I think these guys had a synchronicity together that speaks to me that their solo efforts don't. 🤷 - mjones242
I saw Paul at Desert Trip in California. I’d say it was a really good show more than an overwhelming musical performance. He ran through all his stuff - Beatles and post - and was generally fun and engaging. I enjoyed it but he was on after Neil who was backed by Lukas Nelson who had blown me away musically.

Some luck yes. It's part of the game.
Some could argue the Leafs were lucky to score some of the goals they did last summer because it bounced on 2 pads before going in, it's part of the game.
But no team makes it to the SCF on luck alone. And luck usually goes both ways.
Give credit to the teams winning and move on. - Scabeh
Could be one captain out for a series, then team's best player out for another series on a marginal call... while your best Dman had supplementary discipline twice in the same playoff year for cross-checking people in the head and escaped any suspension.
... The Montreal Senators played good playoff hockey. In other words, the league let them get away with garbage. This is what happens when only 2 of the top 35 points producers in the league make it to the semi-finals.
And somehow, Habs fan believe it is all because the team was suddenly great, could not possibly have anything to do with the NHL purposely trying to even the playing field by letting the bad teams play garbage hockey every year in the playoffs.
Sorry about the sour grapes, but that is what happened.

TSN hockey home page has Chariot cross-checking Simmonds in the neck /head area with good bend in his stick.
