Try not to come on here every day and be an ignorant bumhole, maybe you wouldn't experience people being a Richard to you. 🤷🏻‍♂️

His glasses are stupid.

You can't have any defense, depth fowards or goaltending if you have 40 million in four elite forwards. It's a scientifically proven fact.

Kase is not a UFA, he is an RFA.

Kessel's 1.25M comes off the books.

Cap is projected to raise 1M.

Lilejrgen is not guaranteed a raise. A Mete/Dermott at his age is far more likely(800K-900K)

If Campbell gets a significant raise it means he is a star starter and Mrazeks 3.8M isnt needed.

- Santo_44

True about Kase and he is arbitration eligible, meaning he gets a raise no matter what. Rielly's salary goes up by $2.5M Mrazek will be gone almost for sure, but only $3.05M of his salary disappears because Woll makes $750K. $3.05 plus $1.650 = $4.7 (might pay for Campbell - depending on how aggressive he and his agent are)Sandin and Liljegren are both 1st rounders that fit in the Leafs future plans, as I pointed out earlier if a team offers either of them $2.055 M per season (not a stretch considering how many crap teams there are) All the Leafs get is a third rounder. Neither Dermott or Mete were first rounders. Mete was a 4th rounder picked at #100, Dermott was picked up by the Leafs in round 2 and has been a disappointment overall. Leafs cannot afford to simply add Miller.

You seem to think that if you trade three players off the active roster that the salary comes off entirely. That roster spot needs to be filled at least at the Minimum NHL salary. So in a 3 for 1 trade you are adding at least $1.5M plus or minus any salary difference.

Its been 4 years since Liljegren was drafted. the 15 pick difference between Dermott and Liljegren doesn't matter I don't think. Point me out a 23 year old d man with one season of work who played under 15 mins per game that doesn't get any points who has received more than 1M because I dont know any. Please show me if you know any.

Keefe might be a good coach. 18-4 in California
- Canada Cup

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. IMO he poop the bed against the Habs.

Just a thought.

But to grant Mikheyevs request does a trade involving Mik and Dermott for Debrusk and a pick make sense?

Mrazek’s stats aren’t really that good for a few years except 12 games last year
- Garnie

So he's not worth 3.8M?

I'd say his stats are worth 3.8M.

If they were better he would be a clear starter and would get 5M.

i personally don't think it makes sense to pursue debrusk

he needs to go to vancouver and really hit rock bottom before he becomes a value pickup for dubas

I don't know enough about him but have seen his clear good set of skills against the Leafs in the past. LW too.

They may be willing to if they get a decent contract in return.

Mik plays up to his contract, Debrusk isn't.

If Dermott and Mik are going the other way they would need to retain 700K for it to even out.

If they retain 1.5M then the Leafs come out of it with some extra space for cap accumulation.

Boston gets ok pieces in return.

The only way Sandin/Lil get expensive contracts is if Leafs go long term. Does not make a lick of sense for Lil for either parties.

1 years 800-950K contract for him.

Sandin MAYBE Dubas and Sandin's agent go longer term...but that probably depends on who they have on the team next season. A guy like Miller would probably give them extra motivation to go the 1-2 year route to fit him.

Sandin has been great but he is still only producing sheltered mins. He has not earned a huge raise. Right now he gets Dermott contract.

If they go 3-5 years THEN Leafs have to pay for that potential.

Agreed. Sandin and Liljegren get a raise but it'll be marginal and will not move the needle much in terms of cap hit.

Jake Bean, Dante Fabbro, Henri Jokiharju and Phillipe Myers all make over $2M, don't score much, have less upside (except maybe Bean) and are under 25 years old. It will depend on whether another team is willing to do an offer sheet. Leafs are paying Holl $2 Million and he stinks. Oilers are paying Cody Ceci $3.2M FFS

Not to me, but Dubas thought so.

40’games season before last .905 2019-20

40’games previous season to that .914 which is fine I guess 2018-19

2017-18 Year before went 22 game Wings .910 and 17 with Philly at .891

50 games .901 2016-17

He put up good #’s 2015-16, some guys in here were only 9-10 years old back then

I would have been ok with a year maybe even 2…could probably find someone to do you a favour if he didn’t work out, 3 makes it tough IMO.

Were they planning on letting Campbell walk?

Can't really see Boston wanting to make a deal in division with the Leafs, anyway.
