Odd posts all gone.

Cannot underestimate the Buffalo team here. They are very surprising and have come together. They can beat you. That said the team is playing its best most inspiring hockey of late. Looking forward to another strong performance tonight.

Far as Jarnkrok, never want to see injuries but in this case it has been a good thing. Always saw him as more a third liner and Donskoi and Blackwell moving up has been solid. Donskoi especially has been stellar in generating things and making things happen.

Also glad Fleury is getting in and making the impact I figured he would. I really think we ate better with him in on bottom pairing than with Soucy really.

If the team can keep up the inspired and focused play I think we can build on catching up to both LA and SJ and keep right ahead of the ugly season the Nucks are having.

User error on my part with posting the blog. As always Roadrunner you make excellent points. Fleury is a big upgrade right now on the blueline but my inkling is Hakstol still likes slotting in Soucy for the perceived toughness. Would be curious to see the duo on a pair together for a bit.

Lol. All good just figured site went wonky again!

Yeah I prefer Fleury there. Soucy has improved a lot, not been taking the bad penalties he did early games, but paired with Dunn prefer Fleury. They transition really quick and seem more sound really. Hakstol has his favorites though and definitely has a thing for Soucy.

Driedger getting back to back starts. Good to get Gru some rest. Hoping for another good start there.

Ok totally weird theyre playin the canadian anthem but two US teams?! That is just sooooo odd.

Kind of a slow start

And crappy call for a penalty on Fleury but its Soucy with a blast for a SHG!!!!

Milestone for Gourde too and a big 1-0 lead!!!

Huge pk and shot blocking there to kill the penalty too.

Damn. Buffalo putting a lot of pressure on and just a late period bad penalty

God the boards are brutal. Driedger just caught by it and ends up off him and in. Brutal giving that goal up to Skinner there.

Hate that we gave up a third goal. So meed to keep it locked down and not let buffalo get momentum and back into the game here.

Just a bad one there 1:33 to go and 6-4.

Bad goal and Buffalo pulling goalie tryin to make up two. Just a not so great pwriod. Had them down but didnt lock it down. Good thing the offence was going well tonight.

Phew!!! ENG and 2nd of the night for Appleton!

So Driedger on IR with Jarnkrok and reported Borgen, Eberle, and Shwartz all out vs Detroit. Driedger its something that came up after the game. Other three not disclosed and no status update from Hakstol.

Kole Lind and Joey D’Accord called up to replace.

Gru in for the start.
