Teams ALWAYS find a way to navigate the Cap
U didn’t see Tampa give up Point, for example

And i don’t think we should spend assets on a guy that’s about to be a UFA
And if we worked out an extension with him, it would cost even more to get him

But i think the thought process was that we could essentially get Holtby for nothing Bc of the situation they are in
