I'd say! Wow.
Lincoln Riley USC contract details (not confirmed; best I could do):
- $110 million
- USC buying both his homes in Norman for $500,000 over asking ($1 million bonus)
- Buying a $6 million home in LA for him
- Unlimited use of the private jet 24/7 for family

The PAC-12 just became relevant again, which the NCAA needs so that the LA market starts watching College Football again. With the new NIL rules, he'll turn them into a power program pretty quickly. And instead of having to go through a blitzkrieg of SEC or Big XII opponents, he'll only need to contend with Oregon. He'll be as close to a lock for a perennial playoff berth as you can get (outside of Alabama). |

maybe a little later for the late bloomer?...

State of the Sabres:
Meanwhile, Cyber Monday shoppers could buy a round-trip ticket from Buffalo to Orlando for $138 and purchase discount admission at one of the major theme parks, which slashed its entry fee from $118 to $50. So, fans seeking to spend their entertainment dollars could buy a 200 Level ticket to Monday’s loss for $175 or get a flight to Florida and a day at a park for $188. |

The Sabres lead the league, by a large margin, of seats unsold. One would think it would be a good business decision to provide some deals to get people into the door.

I say flip him to the right side and pair him with Samuelsson next year. If Power looks good and Dahlin doesn't show any significant improvement trade him in the '23 off-season. - zdp1189

Try it, if Samuelsson doesn't look ready send him back down. |

I didn't do the any day/any amount of tickets. Invest in a respectable goalie and I'll consider investing in the product.

Dahlin needs a sports psychologist.
The disparity of what he's capable of and what he's showing when he's not confident is basically OG Larry and MacKinnon. |

He probably would have made the team out of camp if not for the injury. |

At no point could Dahlin for Malkin have been worth it unless Malkin was 10 years younger and no way any team, let alone Pittsburgh, trades a 25 year old Malkin for a 21 year old Dahlin.
Trading a 21 year old Dahlin for a 35 year old Malkin has to be the most asinine thing suggested on here since "move Dahlin to center".
He is infuriating to watch, his body language sucks, and he doesn't look dominant at any point. But he is smooth and natural with the puck and he was influenced by Eichel and Reinhart and Ristolainen's selfish example.
To me, this season unfortunately is a "Wash the stank off Dahlin" year. Okposo is a much better guy to look up to, Girgensons has been here since the asteroid killed the dinosaurs, and Granato is the right guy to have behind the bench.
Power should be here next year. Healthy Tuch, an NHL goalie, it sucks but at this point it's all about next year. If he looks unmotivated and ornery at this point next year, you have to realistically consider shipping him out.
But not for a 35 year old, injury prone Malkin. - BeadyEyedDouche
3 years ago Malkin was 32, genius, and it would have been a STEAL for Buffalo, not that Pit would have done it. At least get the basic math right. As it is now, Dahlin couldn't return a top 6 forward.
When 26 sucks next year what do you spin him for? A 4th rounder |

I didn't watch the game last night, so this has little to do with reaction to the game.
I am concerned about Dahlin, as are a significant portion of posters on here. I am to the point of really wondering if the Sabres should be thinking if trading him. Most of this has to do with the pipeline of LhD's coming up in Power, Johnson, Samuelson as well as the play of Bryson as a young player.
I hear and consider the merit of his age and the longer development time needed for Dmen. On the other hand, after 3 seasons of play, we should expect to see improved competence at the Dgame, but that really hasn't been revealed. He continues to look very lost. Furthermore, he has zero confidence in his game. I'm not sure his Hockey IQ is even average at this point. - IonSabres
Opinion of a lot of posters that it’s all Ralph’s fault for holding Dahlin back and stressing he needs to improve his defence. That was a constant statement on this forum and posters were pissed. It’s all coming back to haunt Donnie now for just trying to be that coach Dahlin would flourish under. He’s a very weak defender and if he doesn’t pick up the defence soon he’s Jake Gardiner 2. |

Its an awful trade.
26 for an injured 71 is awful.
26 is what he is right now is because of the awful coaching he has gotten.
Thats on Buffalo. |

And I think hes awful because hes lived his whole hockey life being able to toe drag people and then skate through the remaining 4 on the ice. He's not good enough to do that in the NHL as we see on aa nightly basis. Yes, his skills do generate some assist for him, But he is by far and away the worst defensive player on the Buffalo sabers and that includes all of our forwards.
And it has ZERO to do with Ralph. Zero. He's getting walked every other game because he's a dog. Not because hes been coached to be a dog. |

He's handling it fine, if you ignore his first year. There's some reason to, but it's hard to completely forget. - Lunaion
Interesting, I'm not ignoring ka's 1st season as gm in the national hockey league.
How many 1st year GM's convince a league mvp (a couple years removed) to sign with a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in a decade?
Don't ignore the good things Adam's has done..
