State of the Sabres:

Meanwhile, Cyber Monday shoppers could buy a round-trip ticket from Buffalo to Orlando for $138 and purchase discount admission at one of the major theme parks, which slashed its entry fee from $118 to $50. So, fans seeking to spend their entertainment dollars could buy a 200 Level ticket to Monday’s loss for $175 or get a flight to Florida and a day at a park for $188.

Just watched that second Kraken goal.

Buy Dahlin a Space X ticket and send him to (frank)ing Mars. Woof.

What a lazy, unmotivated joke of a hockey player this kid is right now. He have (frank)ing mono or something? This is getting old. I already said he's the laziest player I've ever seen at the NHL level, and that's due in part to the immense talent he has.

All that talent worked against 15 year old kids, when you could skate circles around them and fling it at the net and score, but when you actually have to friggin' work for once, well, he's going on 4 years now of it and .

He has no work ethic. No sense of urgency. He looks lackadaisical and uninterested in the game. He's talented still, so it shows up on the score sheet, but I'm seeing too much Thomas Kaberle and not enough Viktor Hedman.

The 6th goal was just as bad

Interesting, I'm not ignoring ka's 1st season as gm in the national hockey league.

How many 1st year GM's convince a league mvp (a couple years removed) to sign with a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in a decade?

Don't ignore the good things Adam's has done..

Plus had to start off by firing 3/4 of the hockey department.

Then this season firing 3/4's of the good players....

KA is doing fine. We're all getting impatient, but I think he's doing a great job.

What time are you going to the Monday night game vs the Pat's? Were heading out around noon πŸ›ŽπŸ›ŽπŸ›Ž

I think this offseason, Adams moves some parts that we wouldn't expect.

Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports that the Tigers and shortstop Javier BΓ‘ez have agreed to a six-year, $140 million contract.
Jon Morosi of MLB.com was first to mention that a deal was close. According to Petzold, there's an opt-out in BΓ‘ez's agreement with the Tigers, though the exact details aren't yet clear. The AAV (average annual value) on the deal checks out at $23.33 million, which puts him under Marcus Semien ($25 million), which isn't particularly surprising based on expectations going into the offseason. It's the number of years that was the question.

We usually park at ecc, so I'll be in the "hood".

I'll pm you, if we actually get there 8 hours early πŸ™‚

I'm 0% concerned with Adam's and his vision.
So far he's been playing his cards well...

Couple good trades (sam and risto)
Couple good signings ( Great28A)

I appreciate the patience, he must be in the long term pegula's plans.

They are more concerned with the bottom dollar then winning, he need pitching and still keeps looking at guys that have been torn up. He's all talk, they want to win without spending and for starters I would trade Judge in a heartbeat. He swings at everything or strikes out.

And I think hes awful because hes lived his whole hockey life being able to toe drag people and then skate through the remaining 4 on the ice. He's not good enough to do that in the NHL as we see on aa nightly basis. Yes, his skills do generate some assist for him, But he is by far and away the worst defensive player on the Buffalo sabers and that includes all of our forwards.

And it has ZERO to do with Ralph. Zero. He's getting walked every other game because he's a dog. Not because hes been coached to be a dog.

- lacaprup

one thing i have seen is his ability to back off the defense when he has the puck...in most instances as of late dahlin mesmerizes them with his stickwork...yes, that blunder at the blueline was a screw up of fantastical proportions but it happens as he has a tendency to underestimate the deft stickwork of the opposing players(s) and/or is a bit laissez faire in his approach to getting the puck where it needs to go...

as for his defense two things--1.) defense was never his strong suit and 2.) he's playing top-pairing minutes on a team bereft of overall talent, especially on defense...it's a combination that's not in the 21 yr. old's favor

Definitely shoot me a PM. I just hope the Pegula's stay out of the way and don't push to rush it. Could see Adams as President in a few years.

Absolutely, but I'm still impressed.

Looks like he hired a good coach in donnie
He's handling the prospects well IMO
Made a couple good trades
Resisted dumping skimmer or okposo for picks (maybe)
Teams exciting to watch
Setting up the future, by losing with no goaltending.
Girgs signing looks good
Signed mitts / joker too good deals
Rochester looks organized, he hired the organizers

You're right though, expectations are low.
Wins really prove worth.... hopefully this is designed
