i think we should take a look at haag and how bad he's been, especially last night where he and joker were on the ice for three ev strength goals against...

going back to the egg they laid vs. calgary (seven games ago,) robert haag has been on the ice for 14 ev goals-against while averaging 16:15 of ice-time...twice he was on the ice for three ev-ga (nyr, sea) thrice for two ev-ga and there was not a single game where he didn't allow a ev-ga...

dahlin had one bad game on the ice for three goals against vs. cbj (along with his partner pyssboy)...four other times he was on the ice with one ev-ga and twice none were scored against...he averaged 20:51 over that time (pyssboy was second on d with 18:55)

even strength goals against past seven games (average ev toi)

You know as well as the rest of us that the entire league is calling Adams if he puts Dahlin's name out there.

The kid is nowhere near a lost cause, a bust, a point of no ("know", for all you Kansas fans) return. He makes bone head plays. Unless he's a head case, it's all fixable.

I'll go ahead and disagree. Sure, people would offer him junk but nothing good. He's a net negative player right now. His offense isn't close to making up for his defense.

Hes had two 40 point seasons.
a 35 points season in 65 games.

He'd be an upgrade over pretty much this entire roster.


Yes i know points are not everything.

He has positive Corsi/Fenwick with a 53% D zone start.

his underlying are still good.

It's almost as if the more a player touches the puck, the greater the chance of a giveaway...

He's been bad recently, incosistent on the year. Get that partner to steady him, agreed. Pysyk had a calming presence for a while, but his ability is limited. We need a real shutdown guy to pair with him and allow him to just go wild.

I mean you don't have to question why that is right? The 2 are never going to have equal expectations... ever. And any defense of 26 that begins with a discussion of haag probably tells you how bad 26 is.

I'm just here to prove Dahlin is not as bad as everyone is making him to be.

Hagg is 26. Dahlin is 21 years young.

Dahlin isn't even fully matured and were talking like he is a NHL vet who shouldn't be making any mistakes anymore
