Meh. I just watched the end again. It was a little weird, but I didn't get the impression it was personal. Maybe just from spending the better part of 3 hours sitting there watching a game he knew he would never get into.
- Tonybere

That was a game Georgie wouldn't have won.
Nice to see a solid effort last night where they didn't let up after taking an early lead. Pressure all night and played hard to the whistle.

Agreed but, before they can take that approach, the league has to get rid of the 2-minute minor penalty for an unsuccessful challenge.

I'm just happy that the goal didn't matter.

True.
I have to say, in real time I called it offside as well. It was an odd looking play.
And we shouldn't be calling it a goal that didn't count. Hart and the defense stopped playing at the whistle, so who's to say it would have gone in if they hadn't.

I am quite happy with how Kakko is playing. He is being physical when needed and not being muscled off the puck.

Yep for so long everyone complained he wasn't producing any offense. Now he is going at a point per game rate. People want to complain now he isn't being physical? Just stop. He is not a perfect player. Enjoy the scoring while he is going well

I think this is what we can begin to expect from Kakko. He looks so decisive. He also doesn't need to do much hitting since he's often the one with the puck in the offensive zone.

Yea I would much rather Kakko be this then worrying about throwing checks. The Rangers have about 10 other players now that can do that

I'm not sure he will be ppg good, but I do think this is much closer to the Kakko we will get from his career, than what we saw before.

He entered the zone in the 3rd period on the powerplay and passed the puck to himself off the boards while turning the defender completely around...That comes with confidence and the ability to read the game at a much quicker level.

not considering the 8 x 8 ridiculous contract

is there anyone here that would trade kakko for Jack Hughes straight up?

Maybe considering the strength on the wings and the need for a Center. But his contract would make it prohibitive.

iI know its just me but i dont think we need a center- Zib, Stome, Phil, Baron, Goody, Rooney is good depth IMO.

Niether does panarin. It’s not necessary to do for some players. They’re good at avoiding body checks I’ll tell you that
