Poor Hart this team will destroy his confidence. Send him down and put on a good old Pens tank. |

I don’t think Hunt should be kicked. It wasn’t vicious with intent but 5 minutes definitely. |

No, you are the one harping on sh% And Kreider.
No matter how hot he is, remember, overall that team is not outlandishly hot. So whatever Kreider is doing very well is probably getiing swamped by someone doing not so well.
I used this simple rule of thumb: The Flyers and Rangers are far apart in standings. As far as 5-0n-5 play goes, what factors do I see where they are far apart in league rank (in those factors)? The only relevant one I could see in quick look through was HDCF%.
Its hardly foolproof. The bunch of minor differences in ranks in other areas may combine to produce a major difference. But you may be underestimating the HD disparity. For the HD goals may be correlated with low danger goals (empty netters caused by the high danger go ahead goal, for example).
They are only 9 points apart after all. Throw in 6-7 goals swings versus opponents overall and you could end up having neck to neck. - PT21
You're trying so hard to base the difference on scoring chances when there are so many other variables at play. It's really not as simple as you're trying to make it out to be. |

Or he's just bemused, wondering which suit and which tie he's gonna wear to work tomorrow. |

Just gonna say I dont have an issue with the call.
I have a feeling he gave him the game because he had a solid 15 feet to turn away from that hit. |

Nothing like a good rim along the wall on the PP to no one in particular. |

I think 7-0 may have been an underestimate on my part. This Flyer team has absolutely ZERO pushback and heart. Nothing. Horrible to watch.

Why can’t they connect a pass without it hopping over their sticks?? |

It wasn’t that bad of a pp. 7 shots and moved it pretty well with zone time. Needed a goal though |

Nothing says "we don't care what our GM had to say and don't care if our coach gets fired", like getting curb stomped against a rival on the first game after all the hubbub starts.

Its clear this team has quit. AV is a qualified knowledgeable coach but its time for a change. What ever made them think Fletcher would be better here then he was in Minny? Thats what I meant when I posted my disappointment with the corporate ownnership. No real thought given to those positions. |

He should have the day off. Permanently.
Look for the Rangers to reestablish momentum after the commercial break.
