I’ve never seen people talk so much about a first pairing D man (provy) needing to be paired w a “good” defenseman to play well.

Wow. Seeler on with provie?
Good to see Hayes name. Don’t mind the line shake up but the second line is still a little small.
Do like Scott is back at wing. - Peter Richards
Does that mean they bumped provy down to the 3rd pair?

Agreed, thats just a load of crap that some people go on about. Ive never heard that said about any other Dman. Youre good or not, weve seen him with how many different partners? So basicially nisky made provy realy good. and he is just good with anyone else.

I hope we don't get screwed out of the first pick..
Usually when we're awful there is no concensus #1 or we get the second pick. |

That second line will be pinned in the D zone all game - Fopa21
1) The Rangers are ranked 31st (dead last) in team Corsi . Flyers not much better at 29th. Rangers (6th from bottom) and Flyers (3rd from bottom) are also under water in expected goals.
2) Only in three of nine periods so far have Frost's line been less than 48 percent in Corsi. There were two rough ones that pull the numbers down but overall, it hasn't been caved. |

While I can agree it's nice to see Hayes back, I'm gonna' say he shouldn't be playing. He's coming off two surgeries for the same issue, which he aggravated again for a 3rd time in his 2nd game back lol. He's missed 6 games, the team is looking horrible and miraculously he's good to go? This situation has trouble written all over it. |

He can perform up and down your lineup as needed, but if/when you play him with elite players you will get the max out of him. when he plays with lesser players he is an ok/descent performer.

Problem is, you're gonna drag Provy down further. If Seeler gets 25 mins, look out 9-0 loss. - Hextall271
it could get ugly. Just terrible they have no options by now.

Rangers record is definitely a bit of a mirage. Like the Flyers, they've been giving up a metric (frank)ton of chances and their goalies have had to bail them out continuously. They won't have such a sterling record for long.

Probably more of Hayes saying he’s ready. Not sure how the medical staff can deem him fit with an injury like that |
|
|
|
Hummmm…maybe this is an indication of sharing the shifts on the right side D so Braun or Risto will sometimes be with Provy also. Well, whoever he is with, Provy needs to play his best. Everyone needs to communicate and put forth their best. Excellent defense leads to good offense. Let’s see it. I will watch every second tonight. Get the W.
Let’s go Flyers!

One would think he is the only one who can deem himself fit to play. And if he deems himself fit enough, should he play?

I'm guessing Braun is nursing an injury and they want to limit his ice time? |

Hopefully Reaves has his way all game. |

Fox on flyers would have put Fletch boy Seeler out "maybe" |

It will be interesting to see how many minutes Seeler ACTUALLY gets with Provorov. My guess is that it wont be very many except maybe on the PK. |

Yea only other thing is they could possibly judge by his skating. Granted he looked horrible skating in that Dallas game and they still let him back. Let’s just say the Flyers medical staff is not performing their best either. |
