Hard to admit but they are a better more skilled team in every facet of the game except faceoffs. Norris dman..Hart candidate forward and Vezina caliber goalie along with good D depth. Would trade roster in a heartbeat and add next two yrs 1st round picks

You know, I hate when coaches do this. It rarely has the intended results. Personally, I like the idea of traying different combos in preseason/trg camp and when you land on 2/3rds or a whole line with chemistry, and who logically make sense with size, speed, shooter vs passer etc..you stick with them for a good chunk barring injuries. Slumps happen etc, but how can players develop that chemistry/mojo if the lines are continually jumbled. Sometimes, have to give the line a chance to break out of slumps.

Unfortunately the season is already at a cross roads and it's already desperation time. What should happen is that the Flyers basically have to play with two pairings and the Yandle/Seeler pairing should play about 8 minutes. Fletcher should also be on the phone looking for a cheap vet 3rd pair Dman who can play the right side.

There is no justification for that in any way. None. Convinced AV wants to get canned as he gets paid either way. Has to be,

I hope someone behind the scenes is seeing who is available and would want to be the GM. Then seeing who would want to coach this team.

They do have options. Call up Igor.

Make a trade to upgrade over Seeler is another option.
