All the speculation that the guys in the room are divided is pure BS, the reason the team is struggling is solely on the coach and his nonexistent systems. Or maybe he has a system but holy fuck they are the worst ever.

This team has a lot of good talent and just replacing the coach and a couple of assistants would dramatically improve the Canucks, I think it is ludicrous to be moving top players out because of media generated outrage.

He can get away with it 30% of the time because he has such a big reach. In fact it is a plus as he ages because his wing span will hide is speed as he gets older.

He is needed on our team for clearing the net and periodically intimidating people. More Myers less Stecher is a decent strategy.

I agree with getting in the right position offensively and the wingspan, but he just seems to have zero ability to finish. Similarly, he has an innate talent for clanking it off forechecking shinpads when trying to clear the zone. It's really quite remarkable. Just doesn't have the eyes maybe. I also don't think he is nasty enough or uses his size enough to make up for the other pitfalls. Easy and popular guy to hate on I know, but he does stand out a lot to me in a negative way when watching.

I agree, except Myers is a top player in the AHL... maybe. If we got a 1st for him and didn't retain salary it would probably be JB's best trade.
