I'm in. Seems like a committed stand up guy with a lot of experience in the space / game. - canucksfan1944
I'd love to see him come in as a AGM set to take over, but I am much more interested in Coaches at this point. Mellanby with a more experienced President like Doug Armstrong would be a nice direction IMO. Need some experience this time around IMO.

I agree, except Myers is a top player in the AHL... maybe. If we got a 1st for him and didn't retain salary it would probably be JB's best trade. - neem55
No. He's a top 4 calibre NHLer. Like right now as we speak. |

This is the Alex Burrows debate. Was Burrows really a 1st line caliber player because he played on the 1st line?
Just because Myers is a top 4 dman on the Canucks says more about the team than him. Myers would make a solid #5 dman at 2.5 mil. |

Except Burrows produced a lot in that role. Has Myers been offensively or defensively productive? Am I missing something?

If your willing to put on the America's Funniest Home Videos theme while he plays and don't care about the outcome, he's amazing to watch.

He did, and at a first line rate – but the argument is if he himself is a first line player without the Sedins, or if he's just a "first line player" because he rode the wing on the first line.
So is Myers considered a top 4 dman because he's in Van's top 4...? Does he have the talent of what one would consider a "top 4 dman" in the league?
All know where I stand on Myers |

Yeah. So much for intelligent discussion. This has already turned into a piling on, ridicule, and name calling situation...not my first day here. |

I think it all comes down to pulling your weight, Burrows did it for a few years. When he took a step back he couldnt be productive in that role. I have never seen Myers defensive play warrant above 17-18 minutes a night with a few of of those minutes on PP2.

Would you like to talk about how he leads the team in turnovers, his generally bad positioning or the fact that he's archored one of the worst PK's in Canucks history the past two years? Maybe some actual stats, cause those really arent pretty
