Yeah, they said he just needed a rest. Been snakebitten and is still only 18, getting used to the pro game. - NorthNuck
Why? It’s not like he helped out with the sandbagging. |

I listened to that interview and that agent is full of poop. - 1970vintage
Total baloney. We have had our fair share of signing some of the top free agents (top at the time anyway). We looked good for many stretches in this road trip, and then we often 5hit the bed with bad penalties, bad passes, and not being ready to play from the opening whistle.
Changing the coaches will heavily impact all those things. Trading Miller will get rid of the bad blood in the room, and also reduce the bad passes even more. |

Get rid of the one player that cares and try’s to make Elias accountable? The team will be unstoppable when Pouty and Boeser take over the leadership group
Also Epp is simply speaking the truth. If I was a player, Van would certainly be on my no trade list |

Maybe no one wants to come to Vancouver because the front office and the bench are run by clowns.
Remember last year when the vicious media was freaking out because the best coach in the NHL didn't have a contract extension? |

No one wants to come to Vancouver because we have an awful owner, sky high cost of living and taxes, garbage media, a garbage history/ culture and a sh!t climate |

Arizona will be a hot hockey destination as soon as our new GM's scorched earth rebuild takes shape in a couple years |

When the fug did the Leafs climb to first place in the National Hockey League? The Shannaplan started the same year Benning came onboard with the Canucks. Now granted, the Leafs had more to work with and they've won exactly as many Cups as the Canucks but at least they now have a competitive club....unlike Jim Benning. |

How's about the pressure of ending a half century cup drought as well? I'm sure that feeds into skewed to the negative media and fan base skepticism.
After a year or two I think most players resign themselves to enjoying the city and gtfo as soon as their free agency or agent allows. |

💯 new players are wearing the weight of decades of incompetence and failure. So many reasons to avoid Van. The media is a factor but not a major one. They are terrible because the org is a joke |

Totally agree. Twice as much pressure on sedin era as there was on west coast express and so on and so forth until the city finally riots/parties for the right reason.
Thank goodness for the pressure release that was the 2010 olympic gold haha. |

not trying to feed the hysteria over the dressing room rift but I noticed something after Miller scored and the celebration when he was greeted by Hughes and Petterson he put a glove in both of their faces and then went to run the bench. If you watch it back it is odd. |

Maybe you also noticed Miller was passing up scoring chances to try and set up Boeser. |

I think that's part of celebrating now ... I've seen the canucks and other teams do it as well before. Kinda like a light 'stinky glove'.

Miller punches and face palms guys all the time when they score, it's a pretty standard occurance. |

Truth bomb.
I'd also add the lack of anonymity.
Burke mentioned it in the past, it's hard to get good free agents to want to come to Canada for all of the above reasons.
