Poor play stats wise obviously not on G. Poor play effort wise yes that is on the leader. Not practicing today the leader can go to coaching & say we need to I want to we are going to. Farabee or Frost can’t do that

jake is coring how he normally does. and has a very high offensive zone start rate.

ghost is having one of his better years to start the season....also looking at the numbers i don't think shayne will be able to sustain his level....lets see how long this lasts for both players.

This has been a shift I feel the last twenty years. Wasn’t around in the 69 s and 70 s. But I view the captain position as a certain type of character. And I require them to bring certain elements.

Now. Not saying anything about g currently. When he was named captain I didn’t understand exactly. Let your best player offensively worry about that. I always preferred a player like landeskog. Current example. Or sometimes it just works out like getzlaf that your best player has those attributes.

But that’s just me.
