Canucks need more back passes like the TML.
You don't need to skate fast to be fast. Just move the puck fast, that would involve having to pass the puck instead of skating down the boards and getting pinched off the puck because there is no one else around. |

I think your hate is misguided. Elias parents were there and the Pens didn’t let him have many scoring chances. What has this league become - CanuckDon
Good point, other teams are also mean. |

Wow!
Canuck fans don’t need this. This teams roster is a lot better than they show. New coach might save Benning’s job ……… for a while. |

I fell asleep at the end of the first period last night, which actually wasn’t a bad period for the Canucks, Demko kept them in it a bit and Podkolzin played well.
Glad I shut it off…. - LeftCoaster
It was really just a bad 12 min stretch in the second when they took three stupid penalties (5 penalties total in that time) and their night was sunk. |

That’s what I’m saying. I gave you a looser point for predicting an OTL when it was a regulation loss. |

That 5 on 3 was complete BS. The amount of times that refs don't call blatant, glaring penalties on a 5 on 4 so that there is not 5 on 3 is a long list. So why are they giving one on such a weak cross checking call? And then to throw a 3rd guy in the box? - Retinalz
All three penalties were valid (and stupid). Cross checking is THE thing they’re focusing on. They can’t not call the delay of game, it is what it is. |

Ya this game wasn’t very good but the 4 before that they were the better team, give credit to the pens they lost 3 in a row with 3 days off on the road they were hungry. |

Light Push with the glove watch it, it’s a weak call to go 5 on 3. |

That's a big thing there, other teams are hungry and desperate. Canucks never show that even though the players should be hungry and desperate every game.
The mentality of the players is broken.
I don't know if Miller is the leader that the rest of the team needs. |

It was two hands on the stick, from behind, into the boards. Just because it is “old time hockey” doesn’t mean it isn’t a penalty. It is THE thing they are trying to get out of the game this year, teams and players have been specifically warned that this exact play would result in a penalty. It was a stupid thing to do that had no value - Mott wasn’t going to get a scoring chance out of it. |

Yup, with a couple of bright moments. I think this ownership and management is the most incompetent I've ever seen. You reap what you sow.

I watched two periods of the Islanders vs Detroit because my father wanted too, he hadn't seen either play all year.
How Detroit is 11th in the league right now is confusing. It's just Detroit being Detroit and defying all logic because they are not good. Good thing though, Stevie Y will think they are better than they are and won't have another high draft pick.
The Islanders looked like the Canucks, even though they had the puck they posed very little threat to score at all. |

If it wasn't for the refs then the Canucks easily would have won with their uninspired and passionless play and their AHL defense. - Marwood
We still would have lost. But it was still a BS call. |
