Maybe because he’s younger, still malleable and did what Green asked him to do? It’s his first year in the NHL no? - 1970vintage
He was brought in last year so his 2nd but 1st season in control of the PP.

Also Mini is right, Boeser is already BB. Brucey, Brucer, Bouds, Boudder, Boudsey, BruBy. I don’t know what will stick but it’s got to be something different. |

Bruce has a nickname already and it's Gabby
Boudreau is known for his talkative personality, earning him the nickname "Gabby." In 2009, he released his memoir, Gabby: Confessions of a Hockey Lifer. |

I'm hearing the Vancouver Canucks are very interested in Marc Bergevin for the now-open GM job |

Dude, it's his first day on the job. Is it really necessary to resort to name calling? I expect it out of Neem because he has the mentality of a 13 year old, but you? |

He would build a bigger defence.
His drafting is worse than Gillis's era. Sergachev, Kotkaniemi, Romanov are pretty much the highlights on from '13 draft till today.
Drafting Logan Mallioux in the first round last year would be a non stop thing for his entire term in Vancouver.
Strong "No thanks" from me. |

My Dad had a fly rod in my hands at 3. Prefer spincasting for it's precision and ability to operate in tight spaces. |

A nickname is a special thing within a society, and should be endearing, so I agree, ketchup face isn’t a real option. It’s like smeag head. I’m not sold on Gabby, even if that’s what other people have called him. Need some time to see how he settles in. |

Maybe they just thought that like Shaw & Gustafson he has an opportunity to succeed with a better head coach to prop him up. |

All talk, no substance Neem. Still waiting on those easy to find stats that show Myers at the bottom of the league. |

The holes JB couldn't fill won't be fixed over night. Probably won't see for a few years what the last couple years will produce either.
As I monitor Canucks prospects I see a lot of good value in picks compared to earlier years especially in the later rounds. - manvanfan
Two more years or three years away from being three years away?
