Actually, he's really not that good at drafting. The best picks look like the two recent 2nd round picks that he managed to keep, after 7 years of drafting in the top 10. He is atrocious at pro scouting and cap management. His free agent signings have been desperate and ill conceived. He has picked 2 AHL coaches with zero NHL experience, as head coaches.
There is very little evidence that he is deserving his GM role.

I keep thinking back to Elliotte Friedman saying last year ‘it’s not time to panic yet’ and wondering, when is the time to panic. I’m actually enjoying seeing how bad this team can get at this point, it is stunning.

I would add that for a team that has complained so vociferously the past few seasons about a lack of practice time they sure take a lot of days off. Green needs to start walking the walk. Wonder if he had a bed in his office?

As they said last night on Sportsnet. When STL switched coaches, they were a team that was playing good just not winning. The Canucks are a team that is not winning or playing well, sometimes not even playing at all.

I'm going to hope for Plan B like Vintage.
