Don't be an idiot. I didn't say Barzal gets a pass for his turnovers. I'm just saying at least he's hustling and trying to create offense. Meanwhile, your beloved Bailey glides around the ice and turns over the puck, too. - JohnScammo
They both need the clean it up. Barzal came around the Sens net earlier in game and passed the puck to the sens high forward and sent them on a 3 v 2 the other way. Then turned it over again 30 seconds later. Brutal. |

Yup, I saw both of those TOs. Agreed, not good at all. I was simply saying on this offensively challenged Islanders team, at least Barzal is out there hustling, and trying to create offense. Thus, he doesn't bother me as much as our invisible man, Bailey. |

Trotz is sending message to guys. Hardly saw Parise, Clutts, Ross, Wally that period. Maybe because we had a couple penalties but I feel like he’s short shifting guys. I’ll check in a minute. Also JGP best forward so far for me. |

Barzal is leading all Islander forwards in ice time, so I guess he's not as upset at Barzal as someone on this board is. |

The whole team needs to tighten up. I think the penalties did change things up a bit.
I thought the refs could have called a couple interference penalties on Ottawa dmen in their zone. Need more than 3 shots in a period. |

I hear ya but Barzal has not been good other than last gsme. Of all our forwards he needs to be much sharper. I’m disappointed he hasn’t stepped it up when we need him most. We are losing games by a goal, especially last 3 or 4. He needs to be a game changer. And he hasn’t been. |

100%. But some of these guys need to lead by example. In my opinion JGP is the only one playing Trotz hockey right now. He’s winning face offs, playing physical, creating offense, getting back on the rush and down below the goal line for breakouts. He’s doing the little things and hopefully others pick up on it. |

100%. That’s how it’s starts. You have to do the little things right. Hopefully like you said the others will feed off of it.

Finally a penalty on The Sens. They could have been called 4 times already tonight. |
