Are you serious? I personally hate them but it's not a popular opinion.

How could you allow Chuck Fletcher to make any more moves after this start? He needs to be removed immediately. - ClaudeFather
Agreed, Fletcher needs to go and get someone in that can make some correct decisions on loading up for a rebuild. Holmgen, anybody else of the old boys club time to go as well.

Well someone is going to be very disappointed.
All I see on Habs, Canucks, Isles, Kracken, Sens threads is that they are the ones getting Wright. - TurdFergeson
Rest assured Flyers fans… we will end up with the best chances in the draft lottery and will get the second pick. |

I personally don’t think Fletcher deserves this amount of hate. We all demanded him to make change this offseason and he did. It just didn’t work out and i don’t think he deserves all the blame. |

I honestly feel the biggest mistake Dave Scott made was thinking this roster was closer to the 2019-20 "#1 seed Toronto bubble team" than it was to last season.
It just snowballed into unnecessary moves by Fletcher and nothing has worked out well from it.
For once in this franchise's history, they need a true rebuild. Not going full Sam Hinkie but they need to somehow fully rebuild this roster.

I can agree to that. His hand was forced this past offseason where as, in my opinion, he should have started to strip it down after the Isles series. |

I’ll be surprised if this gets stripped down by fletch. We’re just changing coaches here. I’m really not sure if this will work or not. |

But they were a game away from the conference final. Why would you strip it down after that? Fletcher went into last season expecting the roster to build off of 19-20 and obviously that didn't happen, but I don't think anyone would have expected this disaster the minute after they lost game 7 against the Islanders. |

Because I love their regular home and away kits.

Giroux at the deadline. One of our better players and put together a package for someone they deem a true cornerstone for the foreseeable future.
Team badly needs someone young and top tier up front to build around. |

Respectfully disagree with you. They were lucky to get by the Habs, and then to stretch out the Isles series to 7. The writing was clearly on the wall.
Thank Carter Hart for those two series.

Again his post game last night. “We’re working too hard right now & not getting results but if we win one than two than three we we won’t have to work as hard because we will be rolling”
The guy is a joke. That is not how a captain or leader should be leading or saying & it couldn’t be further from the truth. You have to work harder & harder. 3 game winning streaks don’t get easier the next game is always harder to win than the last. However, the difference is positive results make the hard work seem not as hard. Yet he thinks the more you win the less you have to work. A total idiot - Fopa21
I’m pretty sure it’s not quite what he meant word for word.
Their issues are way beyond work ethic. They stink. They are slower and less skilled then 90% of the league. They have some nice players, but nothing resembling a “star”.
All of this will probably destroy Hart as well.
It’s over. Put this team out of its misery and start to break it up piece by piece. I’d probably only be willing to hold back Hart and Provorov. |

You’re responsible for your own decisions and actions.
Coach took the fall, but this is Feltcher’s team. He doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt with injuries either… Ellis is a walking injury. |

I dont blame chuck. I blame the coaches and the players. Coaches not adjusting the systems. The players for not enough effort on most nights. The loss to NJ should not have happened. We didnt come out to play. Half a$$ effort in a must win game. That is unacceptable.

There were red flags abound during that playoff. I just chocked it up to being Covid, the layoff, and the bubble. |

They definitely aren’t talented enough, no disagreement there. However, talent is not needed to show effort & this team shows no effort 95% of the time. That is a clear indication on the Captain of the team for not demanding more effort from himself & his teammates |

I don’t know how to quantify lack of effort. What I do know is going into every single game knowing you aren’t as talented as the team you’re playing and chasing the puck all game long must be demoralizing. |

I am actually completing my Team Negative application right now TBH.,. =)
I have always tried to be realistic and positive or at least fair about this team but I will tell you what this is as bad as it gets for me. At some point its the players that are the issue..The mix of players is just wrong and I dont see it getting any better going forward until its torn down and started over. - opeth_pa
Yep. Probably so. And for those who have never seen a Cup in our lifetimes which probably represents 90% of the people who post here it sucks.
It doesn't hurt to admit I'm right.

Can’t wait for them to bring in Tocchet just him to prove for the 3rd? 4th? time that just because you were a good player doesn’t mean you’re a good coach. |

They’ll lose 15 to 0 tonight and te game will end with one of the police dogs poopting on the flyers logo at centre ice instead of the final buzzer.
Tocchet will be hired at noon tomorrow. |
