Pretty much all of his draft picks have busted. He traded away players for trash, changed the culture to be a more passive on ice product, was very nepotistic and got praise for building this great farm system that has turned out to be 85% garbage.

I think Ruff is safe in NJ. There's a difference in losing when everyone is playing & healthy vs when you've got drama like COVID and losing stars to injuries for big chunks of time.

Lindy hasn't had a normal season here yet. This is the first time we've even been able to have team practices since he's been here.

I'm not an expert journalist but guys like Keller, Schmaltz, Dvorak, Fischer, Hayton all struggled and did not thrive under Tocchet. The limited success that Tocchet had was with veterans like Stepan, Panik, OEL, Hjalmarsson, Richardson, all playing a tight defensive structure in front of guys like Kuemper and Raanta. Otherwise, good argument...
