I dont think it was a litmus test at all- one team was rested and one team was not and missing their star goalie. Avs are not perfect. They lost to Ottawa recently- was that their litmus test?

....and we can only hope that Trouba is the scum bag that Scott Stevens was for the next four years or so. Devastating body checks on back to back nights is a great start.

It certainly woke up the Avs after he laid out MacK.

If Miller plays the body and position on 2 of those goals we could have been looking at a different game. Especially that first one by MacK, swung the momentum like crazy. They let the game get away from them in the 2nd period.
