somebody tweeted the same. They said the guy who threw the jersey on the ice was the catalyst for change. FA had planned to wait it out and make changes in the off season. It broke FA when he saw that jersey on the ice.

Can you imagine the horror of going to the cup final when you took the team over to then slowly regress over time to the poop product we saw this season? Going from penthouse to outhouse during your leadership has to be shocking. That’s one hell of a fall.

Benning was an embarrassment. He had his chance and failed miserably. So happy I don’t have to hear his voice or look at his dumb expressions ever again.

Totally disagree. And didn't really care what he sounded like. His drafting was above average for sure. He signed some top player - at the time, and he made some good trades. He needed a president that guided him and Aquaman needed to stay out of it but interfered even to the point of side lining Linden, who should have been listened to.
